I’ve always loved the warmth.
It reminds me of the South.
It’s the place I call home.
It’s sweetness in my mouth.

Like warm coffee in a mug,
A blanket that is soft.
Springtime is life blooming
It is Jesus on the cross.

As the cherry blossoms come
And the winter snow fades
I know that change is coming:
A renewal of my days.

I’m ready for this season
Even though I’m scared.
I will witness to His power
Taking time to prepare.
